Okay this is going to far. This is abuse towards a clothing line meant for the working force. For many years now, and I’m talking 6 years, I have worn plaid jackets. Not because it is stylish or cool or because the every good-looking Cam Gigandet wears them, because they were practical.
I would wear plaid while out in the bush; walking though the woods breaking trail out to a cabin. While cutting wood to heat my parents home was also an occasion for plaid. The photo in the header of this blog was while I was walking around down by the Peace River.
I will admit I was not the first to wear plaid, that’ll go to generations before me, but I do think I wore it for its intended purpose. Sure there were probably times when I wore it too often, but I think I have boundaries now and know when it is proper and when isn’t.
Stop me if I am wrong, but we need to bring a stop to this violence… Who is with me. If this madness doesn’t stop I will be rallying all those who are with me and making a stand. So lumberjacks, trappers, hunters, tow-truck drivers and woodsmen, I will be calling on you.
