I came to Calgary to visit some friends who use to live in Yellowknife and find a vehicle. They are just in the midst of moving from Chilliwack, BC to Calgary, AB. The reason it is taking some more time than you would think, is because they are moving there stuff their self. They have bought a “older” cube van and have been making a trip every once and a while.
So you guessed it, I helped move a load. The trip is something like 9 hours moving a moderate speed, and that wasn’t always the case thanks to Labour Day Weekend traffic. You head in towards Banff on the Trans Canada Highway and just stay on it through the mountains and then you magically pop out of the mountains in beautiful Chilliwack. Which incredible reminds me of Hawaii.
When I’m not driving or in control of the vehicle I don’t do well on some of those mountain roads. I get nervous, but I managed.
More to come on my new vehicle.
